Along life's journey, I've discovered that I'm quirky in a rainbow sprinkled, tchotchke collecting and artistic kind of way.  My family enthusiastically joins me for "stop everything" rainbow chasing adventures.  

 I grew up surrounded by a family of makers. We had woodworkers, a cake decorator, artists, a seamstress,  fiber artists and musicians all packed around our family gatherings for the holidays. While I was in awe of all their talents and soaked it all up, our school did not offer art classes.  I craved each new discovery introduced to me. Through personal explorations and further art education in college, I've grown a deep desire for others to receive the tools and skills needed to flourish through art. With over 30 years teaching art in classrooms,  small groups and private lessons, I'm passionate about encouraging and inspiring artists of all ages.  It's a delight to teach art classes and be part of the process that nurtures budding artists as they experience joy through creating.
